Wonderful experience. GF friendly. Everything was perfect, except you will need fight against other to make reservation :) We now know why it's so difficult to get a reservation.

It appears renovations on rooms are done. They have been working on the parking garage it's looking better and finally the front circle has been paved and spruced up. I feel sorry for the new owner. I don't think he knew how deteriorated the place was. But honestly they are working hard with improvements everyday. I heard what he paid just for the new blacktop and it was outrageous. So I'd say he's doing his best. It was a total eye sore but it's turning out nice.

If you book directly through the hotel they do offer a special price to include breakfast. It's cheaper than if you buy it that morning. It's a buffet-style breakfast and I found it to be very good for a buffet-style breakfast at a hotel
